Fluctuating stock prices expose investors to the risk of financial losses, making hedging strategies essential for managing such risks. This study aims to analyze the implementation of the collar and protective put strategies for PT Pantai Indah Kapuk Dua Tbk. (PANI) stock and compare their potential profits and losses. A quantitative approach was employed using logarithmic returns, volatility estimation, and the Black Scholes Merton model to determine theoretical option prices. The results show that both strategies reduce downside risk. The collar strategy requires lower hedging costs and generates more stable profits but limits maximum profit potential. In contrast, the protective put strategy provides downside protection without limiting profit potential but requires higher hedging costs. Therefore, the choice of hedging strategy should be adjusted to market conditions and investors' risk preferences.
