ANALISIS DAYA SAING EKSPOR MODEST FASHION INDONESIA KE NEGARA OKI DALAM EKOSISTEM EKONOMI SYARIAH GLOBAL
Abstract
Perkembangan ekonomi syariah global mendorong modest fashion sebagai salah satu subsektor industri halal yang berkontribusi signifikan dalam perdagangan internasional. Meskipun Indonesia diakui sebagai pusat modest fashion dunia, kinerja ekspornya ke negara anggota Organisasi Kerja Sama Islam (OKI) belum sepenuhnya mencerminkan posisi tersebut. Penelitian ini menganalisis daya saing, dinamika, dan faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi ekspor modest fashion Indonesia ke 40 negara anggota OKI menggunakan data panel periode 2019-2025. Pendekatan yang digunakan meliputi Revealed Comparative Advantage (RCA), Export Product Dynamics (EPD), dan regresi data panel pendekatan Gravity Model. Hasil menunjukkan HS Code 61 belum memiliki keunggulan komparatif yang konsisten, sedangkan HS Code 62 memiliki keunggulan komparatif yang relatif lebih kuat. Hasil EPD menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar pasar tujuan ekspor berada pada kategori Rising Star. Hasil Gravity Model menunjukkan bahwa ekspor modest fashion Indonesia ke negara OKI lebih dipengaruhi faktor demand-side yang signifikan, sementara sebagian besar faktor supply-side tidak signifikan, sehingga ekspor cenderung bersifat demand-driven. The development of the global Islamic economy has driven modest fashion as one of the halal industry subsectors that significantly contributes to international trade. Although Indonesia is recognized as a global hub for modest fashion, its export performance to member countries of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has not fully reflected this position. This study analyzed the competitiveness, dynamics, and determinants of Indonesian modest fashion exports to 40 OIC member countries using panel data for the 2019-2025 period. The methods employed include Revealed Comparative Advantage (RCA), Export Product Dynamics (EPD), and panel data regression based on the Gravity Model approach. The results show that HS Code 61 does not exhibit a consistent comparative advantage, while HS Code 62 shows relatively stronger comparative advantage. The EPD results indicate that most export destination markets fall into the Rising Star category. The Gravity Model results show that Indonesian modest fashion exports to OIC countries are more influenced by demand-side factors while most supply-side are not significant, indicating that exports are primarily demand-driven.
