Pengaruh Penggunaan Aplikasi KiddyEats Terhadap Pengetahuan Orang Tua Mengenai Sarapan Gizi Seimbang Anak Usia Prasekolah
Abstract
Kualitas sarapan anak prasekolah seringkali belum memenuhi standar gizi seimbang yang berdampak pada status kesehatan. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan aplikasi android KiddyEats dan menganalisis pengaruhnya terhadap pengetahuan gizi ibu serta kualitas sarapan anak. Desain penelitian menggunakan Research and Development (R&D) dilanjutkan pre-experimental one group pre-test post-test pada 50 ibu di TK Darma Bakti. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan uji Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. Hasil karakteristik subjek didominasi oleh ibu berpendidikan SMA (70%) dan berstatus ibu rumah tangga (70%). Hasil menunjukkan terdapat peningkatan signifikan pengetahuan gizi (p<0,001) dengan rata-rata skor meningkat dari 16,88 menjadi 18,28. Sejalan dengan itu, skor kualitas sarapan (Breakfast Quality Index) meningkat dari 3,74 (kategori Baik) menjadi 4,48 (kategori Sangat Baik), dengan peningkatan kepatuhan tertinggi pada konsumsi buah dan susu. Penerimaan responden terhadap media aplikasi tergolong sangat positif sebesar 86% (kategori Sangat Baik), sehingga media ini layak dan efektif digunakan. Preschool children's breakfast quality often fails to meet balanced nutritional standards, impacting their health status. This study aims to develop the Android-based application "KiddyEats" and analyze its effect on maternal nutritional knowledge and children's breakfast quality. The research design used Research and Development (R&D) followed by a pre-experimental one-group pre-test post-test on 50 mothers at TK Darma Bakti. Data analysis was performed using the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. Subject characteristics were dominated by mothers with high school education (70%) and housewives (70%). Results showed a significant increase in nutritional knowledge (p<0.001), with the average score rising from 16.88 to 18.28. Correspondingly, the Breakfast Quality Index (BQI) score improved from 3.74 (Good category) to 4.48 (Very Good category), with the highest compliance increase in fruit and milk consumption. Respondent acceptance of the application media was very positive at 86% (Very Good category), indicating that this media is feasible and effective.
