dc.description.abstractRendahnya pengetahuan gizi pada atlet remaja dapat berdampak pada pemilihan asupan yang kurang sesuai dengan kebutuhan latihan dan performa olahraga. Pemanfaatan media sosial yang interaktif, seperti Instagram, berpotensi menjadi sarana edukasi gizi yang sesuai dengan karakteristik remaja sebagai pengguna aktif platform digital. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis efektivitas media informasi vote Instagram interaktif dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan gizi atlet panahan Kabupaten Tegal. Desain penelitian menggunakan pre-eksperimental one group pretest-posttest dengan 30 atlet remaja sebagai subjek. Intervensi dilakukan selama tujuh hari melalui Instagram Story berbasis fitur vote dengan materi makronutrien. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya, kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif dan inferensial menggunakan uji Wilcoxon Signed-Rank Test. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan nilai rata-rata pengetahuan dari 52,17 menjadi 74,33 serta pergeseran kategori baik menjadi 37%. Uji Wilcoxon menunjukkan perbedaan signifikan (p<0,001) dengan effect size sangat besar (r=0,85). Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa media vote Instagram interaktif efektif sebagai metode edukasi gizi pada atlet remaja.
dc.description.abstractLow nutritional knowledge among adolescent athletes may lead to inappropriate dietary choices that do not adequately support training demands and sports performance. The use of interactive social media platforms, such as Instagram, has the potential to serve as a nutrition education medium that aligns with adolescents’ characteristics as active digital media users. This study aimed to analyze the effectiveness of interactive Instagram vote-based information media in improving nutritional knowledge among archery athletes in Tegal Regency. A preexperimental one group pretest-posttest design was applied involving 30 adolescent athletes. The intervention was conducted over seven days using Instagram Story with vote-based interactive features containing macronutrient content. Data were collected using validated and reliable questionnaires, then analyzed descriptively and inferentially using the Wilcoxon Signed-Rank Test. The results showed an increase in mean nutritional knowledge scores from 52.17 to 74.33, along with an increase in the “good” knowledge category to 37%. The Wilcoxon test indicated a significant difference (p<0.001) with a very large effect size (r=0.85). The study concludes that interactive Instagram vote-based media is effective as a nutrition education method for adolescent athletes.
