      Pengaruh Pemberdayaan Sekolah Master terhadap Peningkatan Kapasitas Anak Marginal

      Abstract
      Anak marginal merupakan kelompok anak yang hidup dalam keterbatasan sosial, ekonomi, dan pendidikan. Sekolah Master sebagai lembaga pendidikan nonformal menyediakan akses pendidikan gratis bagi anak jalanan, anak bekerja, dan anak dari keluarga tidak harmonis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pemberdayaan Sekolah Master dalam meningkatkan kapasitas anak marginal. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode sensus yang didukung oleh data kualitatif. Sebanyak 40 responden dan empat informan dipilih secara sengaja sebagai subjek penelitian. Analisis data kuantitatif dilakukan menggunakan uji regresi linear sederhana untuk melihat pengaruh pemberdayaan terhadap peningkatan kapasitas anak marginal. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberdayaan Sekolah Master berpengaruh signifikan terhadap peningkatan kapasitas anak marginal pada aspek kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotorik, meskipun pencapaiannya masih dalam proses menuju tingkat yang optimal. Oleh karena itu, pemberdayaan melalui pendidikan alternatif seperti Sekolah Master memiliki peran penting dalam meningkatkan kapasitas anak marginal dan perlu dikembangkan secara berkelanjutan.
       
      Marginalized children are a group of children living under social, economic, and educational constraints. Sekolah Master, as a non-formal educational institution, provides free access to education for street children, working children, and children from non-harmonious families. This study aims to analyze the role of Sekolah Master’s empowerment in improving the capacities of marginalized children. The research employed a quantitative approach using a cencus method supported by qualitative data. A total of 40 respondents and four informants were purposively selected as research subjects. Quantitative data were analyzed using simple linear regression to examine the effect of empowerment on improving the capacities of marginalized children. The results show that Sekolah Master’s empowerment has a significant effect on improving the capacities of marginalized children, as reflected in cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects, although the outcomes are still in the process of reaching an optimal level. Therefore, empowerment through alternative education such as Sekolah Master plays an important role in improving the capacities of marginalized children and should be developed sustainably.
