dc.description.abstractPetani garam terkadang memiliki kesulitan dalam masa panen garam akibat adanya kekurangan kerja sama atau jaringan sosial antar sesama pekerja tani dan terkadang cuaca dan iklim sangat berperan penting atas panen garam. Oleh karena itu, pengaruh modal sosial, kemampuan adaptasi dan tingkat kesejahteraan di butuhkan oleh petani garam untuk bekerja sama juga mendapatkan kualitas panen yang baik. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat sejauh mana petani garam dapat bekerja sama antar pekerja tani dan juga mengetahui bagaimana adaptasi petani ketika mengalami cuaca buruk dalam masa panen garam. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif menggunakan kuesioner terhadap 40 responden dan pendekatan kualitatif melalui wawancara mendalam terhadap informan. Penentuan sampel ditentukan dengan sensus penduduk dan informan secara purposive. Hasil penelitian memberikan tingkat modal sosial dan kemampuan adaptasi petani garam sangat berpengaruh terhadap tingkat kesejahteraannya maka dari itu, hasil dari penelitian ini menghasilkan bahwa modal sosial dan kemampuan adaptasi terhadap kesejahteraan petani garam masih harus ditingkatkan lagi melewati hubungan modal sosial dan strategi adaptasi bagi para petani. Analysis of the Correlation between Social Capital, Adaptability, and Salt Farmers' Welfare by HANA INDRIANA Salt farmers sometimes face difficulties during the salt harvest due to a lack of cooperation or social networks among fellow farmworkers, and weather and climate often play a significant role in the salt harvest. Therefore, the influence of social capital, adaptability, and welfare levels are essential for salt farmers to work together and achieve a good harvest quality. The purpose of this study was to determine the extent to which salt farmers can cooperate with other farmworkers and also to determine how farmers adapt to adverse weather conditions during the salt harvest. This study used a quantitative approach using a questionnaire with 40 respondents and a qualitative approach through in-depth interviews with informants. The sample was determined by population census and purposive informants. The results indicate that the level of social capital and adaptability of salt farmers significantly influence their welfare. Therefore, the results of this study indicate that social capital and adaptability still need to be further improved through the correlation between social capital and adaptation strategies for salt farmers.
