      Abstract

This study aims to compare three different commercial feed products on the growth performance of catfish (Clarias sp.) reared in floating net cages (KJA) of Cirata Reservoir, West Java. This study used three different commercial feed products, namely commercial floating feed A with a protein content of 32.43%, commercial floating feed B with a protein content of 34%, and commercial sinking feed C with a protein content of 32.47%. Fish were reared in KJA plots measuring 1.5 × 1.5 × 3 m with an average weight at the beginning of stocking of 6.73 g. Feeding was carried out twice a day at 08.00-09.00 and 16.00-17.00 with the at satiation method for 60 days of rearing. The results showed that floating feed treatment B (34%) provided the best performance in final biomass, specific growth rate, feed conversion, and feed cost per gain compared to the other two commercial feeds. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the highest growth performance of catfish in the KJA system was obtained from commercial feed treatment B with a protein content of 34%. Keywords: Catfish, commercial feed, growth, floating net cages
