| dc.description.abstract | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penambahan Ultra Fine
Bubble (UFB) pada bahan bakar diesel terhadap emisi gas buang kendaraan
angkutan pertanian. Bahan bakar yang digunakan terdiri atas Pertamina Dex dan
Biosolar B40, masing-masing dengan dua perlakuan, yaitu tanpa UFB (normal)
dan dengan UFB yang diproses melalui bubbling selama 50 menit. Pengujian
dilakukan menggunakan mesin diesel kendaraan double cabin pada dua kondisi
putaran mesin, yaitu idle (850 rpm) dan full throttle (4500 rpm). Parameter emisi
yang dianalisis meliputi O2, CO2, CO, NOx, CxHy, dan opasitas. Data yang
diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan uji-t untuk melihat perbedaan rata-rata antar
perlakuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penambahan UFB memberikan
pengaruh terhadap perubahan nilai emisi, meskipun tidak semua parameter
menunjukkan perbedaan yang signifikan. Pada beberapa kondisi, kandungan CO
dan CxHy cenderung menurun saat menggunakan bahan bakar UFB, terutama pada
putaran mesin tinggi. Selain itu, peningkatan kadar O2 dan penurunan NOx serta
opasitas juga terlihat pada Biosolar B40 dengan perlakuan UFB. Temuan ini
mengindikasikan bahwa teknologi Ultra fine bubble berpotensi meningkatkan
efisiensi pembakaran dan menurunkan emisi gas buang pada mesin diesel
kendaraan pertanian. | |
| dc.description.abstract | This study aims to examine the effect of ultra fine bubble (UFB) added to
diesel fuel on the exhaust emissions of agricultural transport vehicles. The fuels
used were Pertamina Dex and Biosolar B40, each with two treatments: untreated
(normal) and treated with UFB through a 50-minute bubbling process. Emission
testing was carried out using a diesel engine double cabin vehicle under two
engine speed conditions: idle (850 rpm) and full throttle (4500 rpm). The
measured emission parameters included O2, CO2, CO, NOx, CxHy, and opacity.
Data were analyzed using a t-test to determine the average differences between
treatments.The results showed that the addition of UFB influenced changes in
emission values, although not all parameters showed statistically significant
differences. In several cases, CO and CxHy levels tended to decrease with UFBtreated
fuel, especially at higher engine speeds. In addition, increases in O2 and
reductions in NOx and opacity were also observed with Biosolar B40 using UFB.
These findings indicate that Ultra fine bubble technology has the potential to
enhance combustion efficiency and reduce exhaust gas emissions in diesel engines
for agricultural vehicles. | |
