      Abstract
Perlakuan terdiri atas P0 : 0 ppm Vitamin E + 0 ppm Se; P1 : 200 ppm Vitamin E + 0,3 ppm Se; P2 : 300 ppm Vitamin E + 0,6 ppm Se; P3 : 400 ppm Vitamin E + 0,9 ppm Se.

This study aimed to evaluate the effect of vitamin E and Se supplementation in feed containing lemuru fish oil on the performance of broiler chickens. This study used 200 day-old (DOC) broiler strain Cobb500 with a Completely Randomized Design consisting of 4 treatments and 5 replications. The treatments consisted of P0: 0 ppm Vitamin E + 0 ppm Se; P1: 200 ppm Vitamin E + 0.3 ppm Se; P2: 300 ppm Vitamin E + 0.6 ppm Se; P3: 400 ppm Vitamin E + 0.9 ppm Se. The results showed that supplementation of vitamin E 200 ppm and Se 0.3 ppm significantly (P<0,05) decreases feed conversion in the starter period. The combination of vitamin E 400 ppm and Se 0.9 ppm increases feed efficiency by 3,85%, achieved the performance index by 325.14, and IOFCC by Rp 3800 kg-1. Supplementation of vitamin E and Se at various levels did not have a significant effect (P>0,05) on broiler chicken performance during the 35-day period. The conclusion of this study is that supplementation of 400 ppm vitamin E combined with 0.9 ppm Se in feed containing lemuru fish oil is the best treatment as indicated by the highest performance index, feed efficiency, and IOFCC.
