      Kinerja Produksi dan Usaha Pendederan Larva Ikan Synodontis (Synodontis eupterus) pada Ketinggian Air Berbeda

      Abstract
      Ikan synodontis merupakan salah satu ikan hias yang memiliki nilai ekonomis tinggi. Pembenihan dan pendederan merupakan tahap penting dalam produksi, karena benih merupakan kunci dalam keseluruhan kegiatan budidaya itu sendiri. Fase kritis penyebab mortalitas larva satu faktor penting dalam manajemen budidaya yang perlu diketahui karena berkaitan dengan kemampuan larva untuk berenang. Dengan mengetahui dampak ketinggian air terhadap larva ikan, pembudidaya dapat menerapkan dan mengembangkan teknik budidaya yang lebih efisien. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kinerja produksi dan kinerja usaha budidaya ikan synodontis dengan ketinggian air yang berbeda. Penelitian menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap dengan tiga perlakuan dan tiga ulangan, yaitu ketinggian air 10 cm, 15 cm, dan 20 cm. Larva ikan synodontis berukuran panjang rata-rata 0,6±0,01 cm dan bobot rata-rata 3,1±0,5 mg dipelihara di dalam akuarium berukuran (80×40×25) cm3 (volume 80 L) dengan padat tebar 15 ekor L-1. Ikan dipelihara selama 30 hari dan diberi pakan berupa artemia dengan metode ad libitum dan cacing sutra dengan metode at satiation. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kinerja produksi dan kinerja usaha terbaik terdapat pada ketinggian air 20 cm.
       
      Synodontis fish is one of the ornamental fish that has high economic value. Hatchery is an important stage in production, as it is key in the whole aquaculture activity itself. The critical phase that causes larval mortality is an important factor in aquaculture management that needs to be known because it is related to the larvae's ability to swim. By knowing the impact of water level on fish larvae, farmers can implement and develop more efficient culture techniques. This study aimed to analyse the production performance and business performance of synodontis fish farming with different water levels. The study used a completely randomised design with three treatments and three replications, namely water levels of 10 cm, 15 cm, and 20 cm. Synodontis fish larvae with an average length of 0.6 ± 0.01 cm and an average weight of 3.1 ± 0.5 mg were reared in an aquarium measuring (80 × 40 × 25) cm3 (volume 80 L) with a stocking density of 15 fish L-1. The fish were reared for 30 days and fed with artemia using the ad libitum method and silk worms using the at satiation method. The results showed that the best production performance and business performance were found at a water level of 20 cm.
