      Uji Kinerja Mesin Genset Menggunakan Bahan Bakar Pertamax Green Octane 95 dan Gas LPG

      Abstract
      Peningkatan jumlah penduduk global sangat berkaitan dengan konsumsi energi fosil, hal ini dapat mendorong masyarakat untuk berinovasi dalam mengembangkan energi hijau. Penelitian ini berfokus pada analisis efisiensi penggunaan bahan bakar Pertamax Green 95, Pertamax 92 dan gas LPG pada mesin genset Tiger TG4880C. Mesin yang digunakan, merupakan mesin 4 langkah dengan kapasitas silinder 160 cc dan daya output bersih 3,6 kW pada 3600 rpm. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membandingkan nilai efisiensi total, konsumsi bahan bakar, dan emisi gas buang dengan berbagai variasi beban yang berbeda. Ditinjau dari sisi efisiensi total pada penggunaan di dalam mesin genset. . Pertamax 92 memiliki efisiensi yang lebih rendah dibandingkan dengan Pertamax Green 95 pada beban rendah dan besar dalam pengujian. Namun, pada beban menengah Pertamax 92 menunjukkan efisiensi yang lebih baik dibandingkan Pertamax Green 95. Sedangkan kadar emisi HC Pertamax 92 dan gas LPG mengalami kenaikkan signifikan pada beban 1350 Watt dibandingkan Pertamax Green 95.
       
      The increase in the global population is closely related to fossil energy consumption, which can encourage society to innovate in developing green energy. This study focuses on analyzing the efficiency of using Pertamax Green 95, Pertamax 92, and LPG fuel in the Tiger TG4880C generator engine. The engine used is a 4-stroke engine with a cylinder capacity of 160 cc and a net output power of 3.6 kW at 3600 rpm. This study aims to compare total efficiency, fuel consumption, and exhaust gas emissions under different load variations. In terms of total efficiency in generator engine usage, Pertamax 92 has lower efficiency than Pertamax Green 95 at both low and high loads during testing. However, at medium loads, Pertamax 92 shows better efficiency compared to Pertamax Green 95. Meanwhile, the HC emission levels of Pertamax 92 and LPG significantly increase at a 1350-watt load compared to Pertamax Green 95.
