      Evaluasi Penggunaan Mikroalga sebagai Bahan Pakan Ayam Broiler: Kajian Meta-Analisis

      Abstract
      Penelitian meta-analisis ini bertujuan mengevaluasi efek level dan jenis mikroalga yang berbeda terhadap ayam broiler. Artikel yang digunakan sebanyak 24 jurnal ilmiah dari Scopus. Parameter yang diamati meliputi performa, organ dalam, hematologi dan serum metabolit darah, serta profil asam lemak daging dada pada ayam broiler. Analisis data menggunakan mixed model melalui SAS web. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian level mikroalga sebagai bahan pakan suplemen memberikan efek positif (P<0,05) terhadap peningkatan limpa dan beberapa jenis asam lemak n-3. Pemanfaatan mikroalga sebagai bahan pakan pengganti juga memberikan efek positif (P<0,05) dalam meningkatkan jenis asam lemak n-3. Pemberian mikroalga pada level yang berbeda memberikan efek signifikan (P<0,05) dalam menurunkan beberapa jenis asam lemak n-6. Jenis mikroalga cokelat memberikan pengaruh signifikan (P<0,05) terhadap organ pankreas. Interaksi antara level dan jenis mikroalga yang berbeda signifikan terhadap peningkatan limpa dan mean corpuscular volume. Penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa mikroalga dapat meningkatkan omega-3 dan mereduksi rasio omega-6/omega-3 yang bermanfaat bagi broiler dan konsumen.
       
      This meta-analysis aimed to evaluate the effects of different levels and types of microalgae feeding on broilers. A total of 24 journal articles were obtained from the Scopus. The evaluated parameters included the performance, internal organs, blood haematological and serum metabolites, and breast muscle fatty acid profiles in broilers. Data analysis was performed using a mixed model through SAS web. The results showed that administering microalgae levels as a supplement had a positive effect (P<0.05) on increasing the spleen and certain types of n-3 fatty acids. Adding microalgae as a replacement also positively affected (P<0.05) increasing types of n-3 fatty acids. Administering different levels of microalgae had a significant effect (P<0.05) in reducing certain types of n-6 fatty acids. Brown microalgae had a significant effect (P<0.05) on the pancreas organ. The interaction between different levels and types of microalgae was significant for increasing the spleen and mean corpuscular volume. It can be concluded that microalgae can increase omega-3 and reduce the omega-6/omega-3 ratio, which is beneficial for broilers and consumers.
