Efektivitas Situs Web sebagai Media Penyebaran Informasi menggunakan Metode Webqual 4.0 (Kasus Penggunaan Situs web IPB Digitani)

Abstract

Kemajuan teknologi informasi merupakan faktor signifikan dalam membentuk pola komunikasi pembangunan di masa depan. Sumber daya manusia juga berperan penting dalam mengoptimalkan pemanfaatan TIK. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk melihat efektivitas situs web IPB Digitani sebagai media penyebaran informasi menggunakan metode Webqual 4.0. Responden dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 100 orang dipilih melalui teknik accidental sampling. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner dan dianalisis menggunakan IBM SPSS Statistics 26. Hasil analisis korelasi rank Spearman menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan nyata antara karakteristik pengakses situs web dengan efektivitas situs web IPB Digitani pada dimensi motivasi dan frekuensi mengakses situs web, tetapi tidak pada biaya kuota internet dan kepemilikan alat komunikasi. Ditemukan juga hubungan nyata antara kualitas situs web dengan efektivitas situs web IPB Digitani. Situs web IPB Digitani menjadi media yang potensial sebagai media dalam penyebaran informasi. Tani dan Nelayan Center IPB perlu untuk melakukan survei kepuasan pengguna dengan preferensi pengguna situs web IPB Digitani.

Advancement of information technology is a significant factor in shaping the patterns of development communication in the future. Human resources also play a key role in optimizing the use of ICT. The aim of this study is to assess the effectiveness of the IPB Digitani website as an information dissemination medium using the Webqual 4.0 method. The respondents in this study were 100 individuals selected through accidental sampling. Data was collected using a questionnaire and analyzed using IBM SPSS Statistics 26. Results of the Spearman rank correlation analysis showed a significant relationship between the characteristics of website users and the effectiveness of the IPB Digitani website in the dimensions of motivation and frequency of website access, but not in the dimensions of internet data costs and ownership of communication devices. Significant relationship was also found between website quality and the effectiveness of the IPB Digitani website. The IPB Digitani website has the potential to be a valuable medium for information dissemination. IPB Farmer and Fisherman Center needs to conduct a user satisfaction survey based on the preferences of IPB Digitani website users.
