Pendapatan Usahatani Cabai Rawit Varietas Loblita 2

Abstract

Cabai rawit merupakan tanaman hortikultura yang memiliki peran penting dalam perekonomian di Indonesia. Kabupaten Blitar menjadi salah satu daerah penghasil cabai rawit. Namun, hasil produksinya mengalami penurunan pada sejak 3 tahun terakhir. Varietas Loblita 2 dipilih menjadi objek penelitian yang diharapkan dapat meningkatkan produksi cabai rawit di Kabupaten Blitar. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis perbedaan pendapatan usahatani cabai rawit varietas Loblita 2 dengan varietas yang tidak bersertifikat. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Desa Sumber Agung, Kabupaten Blitar pada bulan Oktober 2023 – Agustus 2024. Purposive sampling digunakan sebagai penentuan sampel dengan metode analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis pendapatan usahatani dan uji beda Mann-Whitney. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan atas pendapatan tunai yang diterima oleh kelompok responden. Pendapatan bersih cabai rawit Varietas Loblita 8,43 kali lipat usahatani cabai rawit non Loblita. Hasil uji beda Mann-Whitney menunjukkan variabel penerimaan tunai dan total, serta pendapatan tunai dan total terdapat perbedaan yang bermakna. Sedangkan variabel penerimaan non tunai, biaya tunai, non tunai, dan total tidak terdapat perbedaan yang bermakna.

Cayenne Pepper is a horticultural plant that plays an important role in the Indonesian economy. Blitar Regency is one of the regions that produces cayenne pepper. However, production results have decreased over the last 3 years. The Loblita 2 variety was chosen as the research object, which is expected to increase cayenne pepper production in Blitar Regency. The aim of this study is to analyze the income differences between the Loblita 2 variety cayenne pepper farming and uncertified varieties. The study was conducted in Sumber Agung Village, Blitar Regency, from October 2023 to August 2024. Purposive sampling was used for sample determination, and the analysis method used was farm income analysis and the Mann-Whitney U test. The results of the study indicate that there are significant differences in the cash income received by the respondent groups. The net income of the Loblita variety cayenne pepper is 8,42 times that of the non-Loblita variety. The Mann-Whitney U test results show significant differences in the variables of cash and total receipts, as well as cash and total income. Meanwhile, the variables of non-cash receipts, cash, non-cash, and total costs show no significant differences.
