dc.description.abstractTeknologi digital akan terus berlanjut dalam mentransformasi seluruh segmen bisnis di Indonesia. Kondisi ini menjadi tantangan bagi semua sektor bisnis termasuk perbankan karena life cycle produk dan layanan dapat dinikmati oleh nasabah dimanapun dan kapan pun secara singkat. Transformasi digital mulai banyak dilakukan oleh bank nasional dengan mengadopsi Internet Banking dan Mobile Banking pada awal tahun 2000an. Di saat Bank konvensional di Indonesia fokus dalam berkomitmen pada perbankan digital melalui proses transformasi, mulai muncul beberapa bank digital. Namun, beberapa emiten bank digital saat ini tidak sebagus diawal bank digital berdiri. Beberapa bank digital mengalami trend penurunan harga saham serta kinerja keuangan yang menurun. Penelitian bertujuan untuk melihat kondisi kinerja keuangan bank digital sebelum dan sesudah transformasi dibanding Bank Konvensional. Selanjutnya akan dilakukan analisa dan rumusan strategi yang muncul pasca transformasi oleh Bank Digital. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data primer dan data sekunder. Data primer yang dikumpulkan adalah kuantitatif, yaitu hasil wawancara 3 expert berasal dari Regulator dari OJK, Department Head Investment Strategy Induk dari Bank Digital dan Division Head Change Management di Bank Digital. Sedangkan data sekunder berasal dari laporan keuangan 9 bank baik bank konvensional maupun bank digital sejak tahun 2012-2022. Alat analisis yang digunakan adalah uji beda parametric/ non parametric dan Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP). Temuan dalam penelitian bahwa sebelum dan sesudah transformasi bank digital terdapat perbedaan signifikan terhadap rasio solvabilitas, profitabilitas dan rasio aktivitas. Sementara bank digital dengan Bank Konvensional terdapat perbedaan signifikan untuk rasio likuiditas, rasio solvabilitas dan rasio profitabilitas. Dari kondisi keuangan tersebut diharapkan Bank Digital harus tetap menjaga komitmennya dalam transformasi digital, menciptakan sinergi group culture serta dukungan IT maupun inovasi. Studi mendatang disarankan untuk dilakukan di perusahaan lain pada bidang nonperbankan, seperti pendidikan maupun kesehatan, agar dapat melihat dari perspektif lain.
dc.description.abstractDigital technology continues to reshape every business segment in Indonesia. This ongoing transformation poses challenges for all sectors, including banking, as customers now enjoy products and services anywhere and anytime, with short life cycles. Many national banks began their digital transformation journey in the early 2000s by implementing Internet Banking and Mobile Banking. As conventional banks in Indonesia commit to digital banking through transformation, several digital-only banks have also emerged. However, these digital banks are currently facing a downturn, with declining stock prices and financial performance. This study aims to evaluate the financial performance of digital banks before and after their transformation, comparing them to conventional banks. It also seeks to analyze and formulate strategies that have emerged post-transformation for digital banks. The data utilized in this study include both primary and secondary sources. Primary data consists of quantitative results from interviews with three experts: a regulator from OJK, the Head of Investment Strategy at a parent digital bank, and the Head of Change Management at a digital bank. Secondary data comprises financial reports from nine banks, both conventional and digital, spanning from 2012 to 2022. Analytical tools employed include parametric/non-parametric difference tests and the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP). The study finds significant differences in the solvency ratio, profitability, and activity ratio of digital banks before and after transformation. Additionally, there are notable differences in the liquidity ratio, solvability ratio and profitability ratio between digital banks and conventional banks. Based on these financial conditions, it is recommended that digital banks maintain their commitment to digital transformation, foster group culture synergy, and support IT and innovation. Future research is suggested to extend to other sectors such as education and healthcare to provide a broader perspective.
