      Aplikasi Mesin CNC Router Pada Kayu Untuk Optimalisasi Perlakuan Mesin Pada Proses Produksi Pengukiran Kayu

      Abstract
      Produk kerajinan ekspor berbasis kayu di Indonesia semakin popular. Berbanding terbalik dengan permintaan produk, regenerasi pemahat kayu (crafter) semakin menurun sehingga waktu produksi menjadi lambat. Menanggapi masalah ini, mesin CNC woodworking menjadi salah satu jawaban untuk penanganan masalah ini. Dalam prosesnya, untuk menghasilkan produk terbaik menggunakan mesin CNC dan komoditas kayu juga memiliki tantangan. Untuk itu, penelitian ini dilakukan guna menentukan perlakuan yang tepat pada beberapa jenis kayu. Perlu diidentifikasi perlakuan terbaik untuk menghasilkan nilai kekasaran permukaan terendah yang menjadi faktor penentu kualitas kerajinan dari hasil Pemesinan. Selain menggunakan mesin CNC wood router, untuk mengukur kadar air kayu diuji dengan moisture meter. Dalam menentukan nilai kekasaran permukaan, gambar dari hasil pengerjaan CNC dianalisis menggunakan software image processing, yaitu ImageJ. Pada penelitian ini, menggunakan kayu jati, kayu kamper, dan kayu mahoni dengan mengkombinasikan beberapa parameter kecepatan spindle (spindle speed) serta kedalaman potong (depth of cut). Kombinasi terbaik pada kayu jati dengan 14000 rpm dan 4 mm menghasilkan nilai rata-rata 14,75 µm (mikrometer). Kombinasi perlakuan terbaik kayu mahoni berada pada 14.000 rpm dan 6 mm dengan nilai rata-rata 5,25 µm. Sedangkan, kombinasi terbaik dari semua kayu adalah kayu kamper pada 18.000 rpm dan 4 mm dengan nilai rata-rata 3,91 µm.
       
      Wood-based export craft products in Indonesia are increasingly popular. In contrast to the demand for products, the regeneration of woodcarvers (crafters) is decreasing so that production time becomes slow. In response to this problem, CNC woodworking machines are one of the answers to this problem. In the process, to produce the best product using CNC machines and wood commodities is also a challenge. For this reason, this research was conducted to determine the right treatment for several types of wood. In addition, it is necessary to identify the best treatment to produce the lowest surface roughness value which is a determining factor in the quality of machining results. Except for using a CNC wood router machine, a moisture meter was used to measure the moisture content of the wood. In determining the surface roughness value, images from CNC machining results are analysed using image processing software, namely ImageJ. In this study, the commodities were teak wood, camphor wood, and mahogany wood by combining several spindle speed parameters and depth of cut. The best combination in teak wood is 14.000 rpm and 4 mm with an average value of 14.75 µm. The best combination in mahogany wood is at 14.000 rpm and 6 mm with an average value of 5.25 µm. Meanwhile, the combination produces the best value in camphor wood at 18.000 rpm and 4 mm with an average value of 3.91 µm.
