      Evaluasi Kualitas Pakan Hijauan Lengkap (PHL) Berbahan Rumput Pakchong dan Indigofera Zollingeriana dengan Metode Penyimpanan Berbeda

      Abstract
      Penelitian ini bertujuan menentukan tingkat efektivitas dan kualitas pakan hijauan lengkap yang dilihat dari kualitas fisik dan komposisi kimia dengan perbedaan alat simpan dan lama waktu fermentasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap Faktorial dengan 2 faktor dan 3 ulangan. Faktor T adalah alat simpan yang terdiri dari plastic bag dan drum. Faktor S adalah lama fermentasi yang terdiri dari 14 hari, 21 hari, 28 hari, dan 35 hari. Data organoleptik dianalisis secara deskriptif dan data nutrien dianalisis menggunakan ANOVA serta dilakukan uji lanjut Duncan jika hasilnya berbeda nyata (P<0,05). Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini yaitu perbedaan alat simpan dan lama fermentasi berpengaruh terhadap kandungan nutrien dari produk pakan hijauan lengkap, namun hasil produk dari kedua perlakuan masih tergolong sama baik. Kualitas pakan hijauan lengkap dari kedua alat simpan menunjukkan hasil yang baik, dengan plastic bag cenderung lebih stabil dalam mempertahankan kondisi anaerob, sementara drum memberikan hasil yang lebih cepat dalam mencapai kondisi anaerob pada awal fermentasi.
       
      This research aims to determine the effectiveness and quality of complete forage feed as observed from physical quality and chemical composition with differences in storage tools and fermentation duration. The study utilized a Two-Factor Complete Randomized Design with three repetitions. Factor T comprises the storage tools consisting of plastic bags and drums. Factor S involves fermentation durations of 14 days, 21 days, 28 days, and 35 days. Organoleptic data were analyzed descriptively, and nutrient data were analyzed using ANOVA followed by Duncan's multiple range test if the results showed significant differences (P<0.05). The conclusion from this study is that the differences in storage tools and fermentation duration influence the nutrient content of the complete forage feed products, yet the quality of the products from both treatments remains comparably good. The quality of the complete forage feed from both storage tools showed good results, with plastic bags tending to be more stable in maintaining anaerobic conditions, whereas drums provided a faster achievement of anaerobic conditions at the start of fermentation.
