dc.description.abstractThis study analyzed banana farms in Talaga Village, Cianjur District, West Java. The objectives of the study were to describe the banana farms condition, to analyze cost stucture and farmer income that cultivated banana farm by semi-intensive croping system based on standard operating procedure (SOP) from Primatani program. Data for this study were generated from 30 respondents randomly on Mei 2009. The respondents were banana farmers that joined in Primatani Program. Descriptive analysis, income analysis, and efeciency analysis were used in analyzing the data. The identification result revealed that all of farmer cultivate their banana by intercroppping system. The result of analysis showed that there were changes in cultivation methodes and farmer institution after joined in Primatani. The cost analysis suggest that the majority of cost component was natural fertilizer. The income analysis and efeciency analysis showed that the cultivation banana by SOP from Primatani profitable. It was proved by net profit value (Rp 16.945.968,69) and R/C value (more than one).id
