dc.description.abstract | Conversion of agriculture farm to non agriculture is triggered by industrial sector expanding which happened so quickly. It causes high requirement of farm for industial sectors. Most of agriculture farm convertion didn't do by farmer who has the farms, because they sold the nonproductive farms to another who probably an investor or the owner of factory. This research is done in Kibin Village, Kibin Subdistrict, Serang Regency, Banten. Using approach qualitative and quantitative, this research try to study the factors that influence the farmer to sell their farms to other party.
Generally, condition of farmers after agriculture farm conversion has not been prosperous yet, because from 5 prosperity indicator that show the relation of between agriculture farm conversion with farmer prosperity, only 2 indicators describe the farmer prosperity after agriculture farm conversion, those are rate of ability to send their children to school indicator and condition of house indicator. While 3 other indicator, those are consume pattern, ownership of asset, and rate of earnings doesn't show significant result.
Type of agriculture farm conversion that happened in Kibin Village is pertained into Sporadic Gradual Patterned Conversion Type which is conversion caused by two main factors, those are unproductive/lessproductiveleconomical useful and perforced condition of conversion actors. | id |
