Faktor-Faktor yang Memengaruhi Ekspor Kayu Lapis Indonesia ke Negara Tujuan Utama (Tahun 2010-2021)

Abstract

Kayu lapis merupakan salah satu komoditas hasil hutan yang menjadi unggulan di sektor kehutanan. Indonesia merupakan negara pengekspor kayu lapis terbesar di dunia. Volume ekspor kayu lapis yang berfluktuasi selama periode 2010-2021 disebabkan oleh beberapa faktor yang memengaruhinya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi ekspor kayu lapis Indonesia ke negara tujuan seperti Amerika Serikat, Arab Saudi, Jepang, Korea Selatan dan Malaysia. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis regresi data panel model fixed effect dengan pembobotan Seemingly Unrelated Regression (SUR) pada cross section. Komoditas yang menjadi objek penelitian ini adalah kayu lapis dengan kode HS 6 digit yaitu 441231 (kayu lapis, setiap lapis berukuran 6 mm atau lebih tipis, dengan setidaknya satu lapisan luar kayu tropis). Hasil estimasi model menunjukkan bahwa faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi volume ekspor kayu lapis Indonesia secara signifikan yaitu GDP riil per kapita Indonesia, GDP riil per kapita negara tujuan, populasi negara tujuan, harga ekspor kayu lapis di negara tujuan dan harga ekspor kayu lapis negara pesaing.

Plywood is one of the forest product commodities which is featured in the forestry sector. Indonesia is the biggest plywood exporting country in the world. Plywood export volume fluctuated during the 2010-2021 period caused by several factors that affect it. The purpose of this research is to analyze the factors that affect the Export of Indonesian plywood to the destination countries like Japan, United States of America, Saudi Arabia, Republic of Korea and Malaysia. This research uses panel data regression analysis with fixed effect model and Seemingly Unrelated Regression (SUR) on cross-section weight. The commodity which used in this research is plywood with a 6-digit HS code 441231 (plywood; each ply 6 mm or thinner, with at least one outer ply of tropical wood). The estimation result shows the factors that significantly affect the export of Indonesia plywood are real GDP per capita of Indonesia, real GDP per capita of the destination countries, the population of the destination countries, export price in the destination countries, and competitor’s export price.
