| dc.description.abstract | Mychorrizae is a mutualism symbiotic association between fungi and root system assisting crop to grow better, especially at marginal soil. Top Soil and soil conditioner (Humega liquid and powder) representing substance that contains of organic, humic acid and also nutrient substance to assisting growth of crop in marginal land like clay tailing. This experiment was conducted to study the effect of mychorrizae, top soil, and humega on the herbage production of P.javanica, C.pubescens, and C.mucunoides on clay tailing and to find the alternative to substitute top soil. A completely randomized factorial design was used in this experiment. Mychorrizae was the first factor, consisted of M0: without AMF (Arbuscula Mycorrhizal Fungi) and M1: with AMF. Soil conditioner was the second factor, consisted of H0: control, H1: Top soil, H2: Humega liquid, H3: Humega powder, H4: Top soil plus Humega liquid, and H5: Top soil plus Humega powder. The parameters were shoot dry weight from first and second cutting, root infection, spore number and spore identification. The result shown that AMF significantly (p<0.01) increased the root infection and spore number but decrease shoot dry weight of first and second cutting of P.javanica, C.pubescens and C.mucunoides. Top soil and humega powder increased the production of P.javanica and C.pubescens, while C.mucunoides only increased the root infection. Interaction between AMF and soil conditioner only increased the root infection but not influence significantly shoot dry and spore number. Spore identification did not shown other species but mycofer. | id |
