dc.description.abstractProses budidaya organik adalah upaya yang dapat dilakukan dalam mewujudkan pembangunan pertanian yang berkelanjutan. Pertanian organik akan terus berkembang jika sektor hilirnya turut merespon dengan baik. Segmen generasi muda adalah segmen potensial yang memiliki kesadaran akan pangan berkelanjutan. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk menganalisis persepsi, preferensi, dan tingkat kesediaan membayar generasi muda terhadap beras organik. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Januari hingga Mei tahun 2023. Jenis data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini bersumber dari data primer berupa 161 responden generasi muda di Indonesia. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisa deskriptif dan Discrete Choice Experiment (DCE). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan generasi muda memiliki potensi dan persepsi yang positif terhadap beras organik, namun besaran willingness to pay terhadap beras organik masih lebih rendah dibandingkan harga rata-rata riil beras organik. Generasi muda bersedia membayar lebih beras organik lebih tinggi Rp10.776,83 dibandingkan beras konvensional.id
dc.description.abstractThe process of organic cultivation is an effort that can be done in realizing sustainable agricultural development. Organic agriculture will continue to grow if the downstream sector also responds well. The younger generation is a potential segment that has awareness of sustainable food. This research was conducted with the aim of analyzing the perception, preference, and willingness to pay for organic rice by the younger generation. This research was carried out from January to May 2023. The type of data used in this study comes from primary data in the form of 161 respondents from the younger generation in Indonesia. The method used in this research is descriptive analysis and Discrete Choice Experiment (DCE). The results of this research indicate that the younger generation has potential and positive perceptions of organic rice, however, the amount of willingness to pay for organic rice is still lower than the real average price of organic rice. The younger generation is willing to pay more for organic rice which is Rp. 10,776.83 higher than conventional rice.id
