dc.description.abstractThis study investigates the relation between work motivation of women in infor-mal sector with the division of labor and decision making process within family. The respondents of this research are 30 woman vegetable sellers and their family living in temporary migrants boarding houses in Bekasi. This study revealed that the majority of woman vegetable sellers are working for economic purposes. The women work motivation does not influence the division of labor in the family par-ticularly in domestic works. Women, whether working for money or not, main task in the family is taking care of all domestic works. The division of labor in the family is not influence the decision making process in the family. Women are still entitled to make decision on domestic activities, while men are responsible to de-cide on non domestic activities.id
