dc.description.abstractThis research examines knowledge and factors affecting the access of migrants population in squatter dwellings to free or subsidized health services from the government. Most migrants live in this squatter dwellings came from villages around Java Island. Their migrants status will be an interesting topic related to their legal community status. There is a significant relation between the community legal status and their access to free or subsidized health services from the governmnet. The ownnership of a local ID Card or KTP (Kartu Tanda Penduduk) is very important for accessing the free or subsidized health services. Only minor of the respondents own DKI Jakarta ID Card, the majority of them still hold their origin village ID Card. Some respondents hold free or subsidized health services cards from their origin villages and only can use them in their origin villages.id
