dc.description.abstractThe existence and development of an enterprise is determined by the factor of leadership. Corporate leadership is important and interesting to study in the effort to understand the company's growth and its prospects in the future. So, the aim of this study is to analyze the leadership styles used by managers, in order to find the relationship between leadership styles and the motivation of subordinates. This study uses a combination of quantitative method and qualitative method. The results show that the consultative leadership style tends to produce a high motivation among employees. The application of directive leadership, participative, and delegate style also tend to produce a high motivation in different situation. However. the motivation is also influenced by other motivation factors.id
