      Abstract

The maintenance of silkworms yields the primary product, silk fiber, as well as by-products. Frass, litter, pupae, and sericin are all components of silkworm waste. The purpose of this study is to research into the possible uses of mulberry (Bombyx mori) and non-mulberry (Samia cynthia ricini) silkworm livestock wastes. The approach utilized in this study is a review of the literature based on the collection of diverse published material. The method used are literacy, data collection and thesis preparation. Silkworm pupa waste in the form of pupa flour given to poultry diets had a positive impact, for example, on quail carcass weight, optimal nutrient absorption in laying hens, increased growth in broilers, and affected weight gain and growth in rabbits. In rats, sericin waste has the ability to retain skin moisture and interfere with wound healing. Silkworm frass has the potential to be an organic fertilizer with more stable C, stimulating the activity of decomposition bacteria and resulting in substantial levels of C and N mineralization, allowing it to disintegrate more quickly.
