Indonesia sebagai negara dengan populasi Muslim terbanyak di dunia belum mampu memanfaatkan industri asuransi syariah secara maksimal untuk mengurangi dampak dari ketidakpastian. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengidentifikasi kekuatan, kelemahan, peluang, dan ancaman yang dihadapi industri asuransi syariah di Indonesia selama pandemi Covid-19 serta merumuskan strategi pengembangannya. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Analytic Network Process (ANP) dengan struktur jaringan SWOT (Strength-Weakness-Opportunity-Threat). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan aspek yang paling berpengaruh adalah prinsip yang dimiliki oleh asuransi syariah, kurangnya produk asuransi yang dapat menjangkau kelas menengah bawah dan kelas bawah, banyaknya populasi Muslim di Indonesia, dan kegiatan marketing dan distribusi produk asuransi syariah terhambat dikarenakan PSBB. Adapun prioritas strategi industri asuransi syariah di Indonesia selama pandemi Covid-19 adalah meningkatkan inovasi produk asuransi syariah. Indonesia as a country with the most Muslim population in the world hasn’t been able to use islamic insurance industry at maximum potential to decrease the effect from the uncertainty. The purpose of this research is to identify the strength, weaknesses, opportunity, and threat that faced by the islamic insurance industry in Indonesia and formulating its development strategy during the Covid-19 pandemic. The method that used in this research is Analytic Network Process (ANP) with SWOT (Strength-Weakness-Opportunity-Threat) network structure. The results of this research show the most influential aspects are the principles owned by Islamic insurance, the lack of insurance products that can reach the lower middle and lower classes, the large Muslim population in Indonesia, and marketing activities and distribution of insurance products is hampered due to PSBB. As for the priority of the sharia insurance strategy in Indonesia during the Covid-19 pandemic is increase the innovation (new products) from products that offered by Islamic insurance.
