dc.description.abstract | The subtitution of soybean meal with fish meal is used to maximaze and increase the utilization of 70% tea waste, because soybean meal with fish meal contain the most balanced amino acid comparing with others feed component. The Experiment conducted in Small Ruminant Laboratory, Department of Animal Production Science, Faculty on Animal Science, Bogor Agricultural University, from November 2003 until January 2004. 20 Local Lamb with average body weight 20.87±1.8 kg were observed. The experiment design used Completely Randomized Design with five treatments and four replications. The treatments that were given are R1 (10% soybean meal, 0% fish meal), R2 (7.5% soybean meal, 2.5% fish meal), R3 (5% soybean meal, 5% fish meal), R4 (2.5% soybean meal, 7.5% fish meal), R5 (0% soybean meal, 10% fish meal). Data were analysed with ANOVA and followed by doubel Duncan (Steel and Torrie, 1993). The result of this research showed that treatments was not a significantly different affected on feed consumption based on dry matter, average weight gain, feed conversion and Income Over Feed Cost. The average of feed consumption based on dry matter was 978.42±16.52; 999.84±25.00; 1013.21±10.39; 1013.07±15.84; 1010.25±18.47 gram/ekor/hari, average weight gain was 81.35±27.01; 87.30±29.67; 99.21±27.87; 117.06±11.90; 97.22±20.87 gram/ekor/hari, average of feed conversion was 12.97±3.91; 12.89±5.74; 10.85±3.15; 8.71±0.87; 10.74±2.19 gram/ekor/hari. It is concluded that all treatments shown a good substitution 2.5% of soybean meal with 7.5% fish meal is tend to the best of all treatment, because have good feed consumption, average weight gain, feed conversion and Income O ver Feed Cost. | id |
