dc.description.abstract | Penelitian ini bertujuan mengevaluasi pertumbuhan kembali dan konservasi kudzu dengan dibuat pakan silase. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Unit Pendidikan dan Penelitian Peternakan Jonggol (UP3J), Laboratorium Agrostologi, Laboratorium Nutrisi Ternak Perah (NTP) dan Laboratorium Pusat Antar Universitas (PAU). Penelitian pada silase dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) dengan 4 perlakuan dan 5 ulangan pada pembuatan silase, yaitu P0 = tanpa penambahan aditif, P1 = 5% dedak padi, P2 = 5% pollard, P3 = 5% bungkil inti sawit. Peubah yang diamati adalah pertumbuhan kembali, produksi hijauan, dan uji silase meliputi uji organoleptik, uji pH, analisis proksimat, KcBK dan KcBO. Data penelitian pH silase dianalisis menggunakan ANOVA, hasil yang berbeda nyata diuji lanjut Tukey. Laju pertumbuhan kembali dibuat grafik dengan analisis regresi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pertumbuhan kembali meningkat setiap minggunya yang berpotensi untuk dikembangkan lebih lanjut dengan melihat beberapa paramater yaitu tinggi, jumlah daun dan jumlah cabang. Konservasi kudzu dalam bentuk silase dengan pemberian bahan aditif dapat meningkatkan kualitasnya dibandingkan dengan kontrol. Silase dengan penambahan aditif bungkil inti sawit menunjukkan hasil yang paling efektif kualitas nutriennya. | id |
dc.description.abstract | This study aims to evaluate kudzu regrowth and conservation through
ensilage method. The research was carried out at Jonggol Animal Husbandry
Education and Research Unit (UP3J), of Laboratory Agrostology, of Dairy Animal
Nutrition Laboratory (NTP) and Inter-University Central Laboratory (PAU). The study on silage was conducted using a completely randomized design (RAL) method with 4 treatments and 5 replications in silage making, namely P0 = without the addition of additives, P1 = 5% rice bran, P2 = 5% pollard, P3 = 5% palm kernel. The variables observed were regrowth, forage production, and silage test such as organoleptic, pH test, proximate analysis, KcBK and KcBO. The data were analyzed using ANOVA, the significant result were followed by Tukey test. Regrowth rate graphed with regression analysis. The results showed that regrowth increased every week based on plant height, number of leaves and branches. Kudzu conservation through ensilage with different additives were improved its quality. Palm kernel addition on silage showed the most effective results nutrition quality. | id |
