Pengembangan Model Bisnis Perusahaan Manufaktur Di PT Bando Indonesia
Abstract
PT Bando Indonesia is one of the best manufacturing companies in the
automotive sector in providing power transmission belts in Indonesia. PT Bando
Indonesia's products have been accepted in several countries. And these products
are used by the automotive industry, conveyors, and other industries. However, this
company still faces obstacles in its activities, and one of the problems is the
fulfillment of production capacity.
This research aimed to identify and evaluate the impact of business
environment factors and current business models. The second purpose of this
research to determine alternative business strategies that are possible to
implemented by the company. The third purpose of this research to formulated
recommendations new business model based on the studies that have been done.
This research uses two types of data, primary data, and secondary data. The
primer data comes from interviews, questionnaires, and the FGD of the company,
and the secondary data comes from company profiles, literature, and internet.
Primer data and secondary data will be processed and analyzed first using internal
analysis (IFE) and external analysis (EFE) to know the company's business
environment. The results from internal analysis (IFE) and external analysis (EFE)
will be the basis for the alternative strategy with SWOT analysis. The final method
is to build an alternative triple-layer business model canvas (TLBMC). The
alternative business model has been influenced by an alternative strategy from the
swot analysis that has been prepared previously.
The results showed that the company was in good condition. The research
output had indicated by the IFE analysis score of 3,06 and the EFE analysis score
of 2,74. The SWOT analysis in this study showed several alternative strategies to
support the company's business. Alternative strategies have the effect of building
alternative business models based on TLBMC. Previously, the company's business
model has been analyzed using the TLBMC approach, with economic,
environmental, and social factors. The influence of the alternative strategies formed
on the business model is the addition of several blocks in TLBMC.
The company's problems in procuring raw materials solve by apply EOQ,
safety stock, forming a new business unit and using substitute materials. The
solution to labor problems in a company is raising the welfare and confidence of
the existing workforce. The storages problems of the company faced by maximizing
operational effectiveness based on the alternative business model
