dc.description.abstract | Budidaya tanaman purwoceng secara hidroponik dilakukan di Plant
Factory IPB University, Leuwikopo, Dramaga. Sistem hidroponik yang
digunakan adalah sistem hidroponik substrat dengan media tanam campuran arang
sekam dan cocopeat menunjukkan pertumbuhan terbaik. Salah satu parameter
yang perlu diperhatikan pada budidaya tanaman secara hidroponik tersebut adalah
kadar air media tanam. Penelitian ini bertujuan menguji sistem monitoring kadar
air media tanam berbasis LoRa pada berbagai campuran arang sekam dan
cocopeat untuk budidaya tanaman secara hidroponik. Perbandingan campuran
arang sekam dan cocopeat yang digunakan untuk pengujian adalah 3:1, 2:1, dan
1:1. Tahapan penelitian yang dilakukan meliputi penjenuhan media tanam,
kalibrasi sistem monitoring, pengukuran sifat fisik, dan pengukuran kadar air
menggunakan menggunakan sistem monitoring berbasis LoRa yang
dikembangkan oleh tim riset purwoceng IPB dan metode gravimetri. Pengukuran
sifat fisik porositas media tanam arang sekam dan cocopeat memiliki hasil yang
berbanding terbalik dengan bulk density. Nilai regresi bulk density berpengaruh
sebesar R2
0,8945 terhadap kadar air media tanam. Hasil pengukuran kadar air
menggunakan sistem monitoring berbasis LoRa dan metode gravimetri memiliki
nilai yang signifikan melalui uji ANOVA. Tingkat akurasi sistem monitoring
sangat baik sebagaimana ditunjukkan oleh perbandingan terhadap metode
gravimetri menggunakan uji regresi linier yang mendapatkan nilai R
2

dc.description.abstract | The hydroponic cultivation of purwoceng plants was carried out at the Leuwikopo Plant Factory of IPB Univeristy, Leuwikopo, Dramaga. The hydroponic system used was a substrate hydroponic system with a mixture of husk charcoal and cocopeat growing media. This study aims to test the water content monitoring system of LoRa-based growing media on various mixtures of husk charcoal and cocopeat for cultivation of plants. The ration of the mixture of husk charcoal and cocopeat used for the test was 3:1, 2:1, and 1:1. The stages of the research carried out included saturation of planting media, calibration of system monitoring, measurement of physical properties, measuring water content using measuring instruments that were part of the monitoring system developed by the purwoceng cultivation team in Leuwikopo IPB and the gravimetri method. Measurement of the porosity of husk charcoal and cocopeat growing media had result that were inversely proportional to the bulk density. The regression value of bulk density has an effect of R2 0,08945 on the water content of the grtowing media. The results of measuring water content using a LoRa-based monitoring system and the gravimetric method have a significant value through the ANOVA test. The level of accuracy of the monitoring system is very good as shown by the comparison to gravimetri method using linear regression tets which gets an R2 value of 0,5125 and a MAPE value of 7,06%. | id |
