      Abstract
Prevost's squirrel (Callosciurus prevostii) is included in protected wild species list. Concervation is an alternative way to save this species from being extinct. The purpose of this experiment was to obtain information about behaviour that related to feeding activity of prevost's squirrel. The experiment was conducted at capture breeding, Zoology Division, Research Centers for Biology – LIPI, Cibinong. The observation were divided into three periods, that were morning, afternoon, and evening. Each of the observation period was further divided into interval time in every 15 minutes. Data were analyzed using one zero sampling method. The results indicated that the activites of prevost's squirrel during daylight from the highest to the lowest are resting activity (68.62%), locomotion (13.34%), eating (8.10%), drinking (4.05%), grooming (4.53%), defecation (1.22%) and urination (0.15%). Resting activity is the highest activity which is done by the squirrel. During daylight feeds given are sunflower seed, sweet corn, guava, coconut, poison fruit and papaya. From all of these feeds, squirrel likes guava and papaya very much. Key Word : Callosciurus prevostii, feeding behaviour, captivity
