      Tingkat Toleransi Mutan Tanaman Lamtoro (Leucaena leuchochepala) Tahan Kutu Loncat terhadap Cekaman Kekeringan

      Abstract
      Leguminosa merupakan jenis hijauan pakan sumber protein, salah satu jenis leguminosa yang telah dikenal baik oleh peternak di Indonesia adalah lamtoro (Leucaena leucocephala) varietas Tarramba. Meskipun demikian hama kutu loncat merupakan hama utama yang menyerang tanaman lamtoro sehingga menyebabkan turunnya produksi. Hama kutu loncat termasuk dalam ordo Hemiptera famili Psyllidae. Hama kutu loncat dewasa meletakan telur pada pucuk tanaman yang dapat memenuhi seluruh permukaan tunas tanaman lamtoro. Karena hal tersebut populasi nimfa berkembang pada pucuk tanaman sangat tinggi dan meyebabkan anak daun tanaman mengeriting, menggulung, mengering kemudian gugur. Hama kutu loncat juga mengekresi embun madu yang segera di tumbuhi jamur jelaga yang menyebabkan pucuk tanaman dan daun berwarna kehitam-hitaman. Lamtoro memiliki tingkat adaptasi yang kurang baik dengan tanah kering. Penelitian ini di harapkan diperoleh mutan tanaman lamtoro tahan kutu loncat terhadap cekaman kekeringan. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah RAL dengan 5 perlakuan 651 ulangan. Analisis data menggunakan Anova Unbalanced berdasarkan perbedaan sumber mutan tanaman lamtoro pada level yang berbeda 100 Gy (n= 82), 200 Gy (n= 153), 300 Gy (n=120), 400 Gy (n= 244), 500 Gy (n= 52) Selanjutnya jika terdapat perbedaan yang nyata akan dilakukan uji lanjut Duncan pada taraf 5%. Hasil penelitian pada interval penyiraman 7, 10 dan 12 hari pada parameter tinggi terlihat bahwa dengan level penyinaran 200 Gy, 300 Gy, 400 Gy dan 500 Gy lebih baik daripada penyinaran 100 Gy. Parameter diameter batang penyinaran 100 Gy lebih baik daripada level penyinaran 200 Gy, 300 Gy, 400 Gy dan 500 Gy. Kata Kunci: interval penyiraman, mutan lamtoro, sinar gamma
       
      Leguminose is a type of forage as a protein source, one type of legume that is well known by breeders in Indonesia is lamtoro (Leucaena leucocephala) Tarramba variety. However, the fleas are the main pests that attack the lamtoro plant, causing a decrease in production. Pests fleas jump included in the order Hemiptera family Psyllidae. Adult fleas lay eggs on plant shoots that can cover the entire surface of lamtoro plant shoots. Because of this, the population of nymphs growing at the top of the plant is very high and causes the leaflets to curl, curl, dry and then fall. The fleas also secrete honeydew which is soon overgrown with sooty fungus which causes the shoots and leaves to turn black. Lamtoro has a poor adaptability to dry soil. It is hoped that this research will obtain a mutant plant lamtoro against drought stress. The research design used was RAL with 5 treatments with 651 replications. Data analysis using Unbalanced ANOVA based on different sources of mutant plants lamtoro at different levels 100 Gy (n= 82), 200 Gy (n= 153), 300 Gy (n=120), 400 Gy (n = 244), 500 Gy (n = 52) Furthermore, if there is a significant difference, Duncan's further test will be carried out at the 5% level. The results of the study at intervals of 7, 10 and 12 days at high parameters showed that the irradiation levels of 200 Gy, 300 Gy, 400 Gy and 500 Gy were better than 100 Gy irradiation. Parameters of 100 Gy irradiation rod diameter were better than 200 Gy, 300 Gy, 400 Gy and 500 Gy irradiation levels. Keywords: watering interval, lamtoro mutant, gamma rays
