dc.description.abstractLobster air tawar (Cherax quadricarinatus) memiliki sifat kanibalisme dan perilaku makan teritorial, sehingga metode pemberian pakan menjadi kendala dalam pemeliharaan berkepadatan tinggi. Penggunaan sistem cellular dapat menjadi salah satu upaya mengurangi persaingan pakan antara lobster. Tujuan penelitian mengevaluasi penggunaan sistem cellular terhadap kinerja pertumbuhan pada lobster air tawar. Penelitian menggunakan tiga perlakuan dan tiga ulangan yaitu pemeliharaan lobster air tawar tanpa sistem cellular, dengan sistem cellular wadah transparan, dan wadah semi transparan. Bobot awal rata-rata lobster air tawar 8,03 g dan dipelihara selama 60 hari. Hasil menunjukkan nilai Spesific Growth Rate, Feed Efficiency dan Protein Efficiency Ratio pemeliharaan lobster air tawar menggunakan sistem cellular berpengaruh nyata (P<0,05). Berdasarkan hasil, pada perlakuan sistem cellular transparan SGR 5,75±0,22% dan FE 53,13±0,71%. Pada perlakuan sistem cellular semi transparan SGR 5,38±0,11%, dan FE 50,00±0,47%, perlakuan dengan sistem cellular lebih tinggi dari perlakuan kontrol dengan nilai SGR 3,26±0,54% dan FE 31,75±0,19%. Sedangkan nilai Survival Rate menunjukkan perlakuan yang diberikan tidak berpengaruh nyata (P>0,05). Kesimpulan penelitian, kinerja pertumbuhan lobster air tawar terbaik menggunakan pemeliharaan sistem cellular.id
dc.description.abstractFreshwater lobster (Cherax quadricarinatus) has cannibalism and territorial feeding behavior, so that the method of feeding becomes an obstacle when reared in high stocking density. The cellular system can be used as an effort to reduce cannibalism and feeding competition crayfish. The purpose of this study was to evaluate growth performance and feed efficiency of crayfish reased with the cellular system. The study was designed using three treatments and three replications, namely treatment without a cellular system, treatment with a cellular system in a transparent container, and treatment with cellular system using semi-transparent container. The average initial weight of crayfish is 8.03 g and reared for 60 days. The results showed that the Spesific Growth Rate, Feed Efficiency and Protein Efficiency Ratio values of crayfish rearing using a cellular system had a significant effect (P<0.05). Based on the results, in the treatment of transparent cellular systems, SGR was 5.75±0.22% and FE was 53.13±0.71%. In the semi-transparent cellular system treatment, SGR 5.38±0.11%, and FE 50.00±0.47%, the treatment with the cellular system was higher than the control treatment with SGR values of 3.26±0.54% and FE 31 ,75±0.19%. While the Survival Rate value indicates the treatment given has no significant effect (P>0.05). The conclusion of the study, the best crayfish growth performance using cellular system maintenance.id
