dc.description.abstractPerkembangan dunia usaha Indonesia telah menyebabkan munculnya model usaha mikro, kecil dan menengah (UMKM). Perkembangan jumlah unit usaha UMKM di Indonesia terus mengalami peningkatan setiap tahunnya. Usaha yang saat ini sedang berkembang adalah usaha minuman kekinian yang telah muncul di tengah masyarakat selama beberapa tahun terakhir. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan karakteristik pelaku usaha, karakteristik usaha, dan karakteristik kewirausahaan pelaku usaha, serta menganalisis hubungan karakteristik kewirausahaan dan keberhasilan usaha minuman kekinian. Penelitian dilakukan di Kecamatan Medan Johor, Kota Medan dengan menggunkaan metode analisis deskriptif dan analisis korelasi. Penentuan sampel pada penelitian ini dengan menggunakna purposive sampling berjumlah 35 responden. Alat analisis yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah Rank Spearman. Karakteristik kewirausahaan yang diteliti pada penelitian ini adalah inovatif, percaya diri, berani mengambill risiko, dan berorientasi masa depan. Pengukuran keberhasilan usaha pada penelitian ini menggunakan indikator pertumbuhan usaha dan omzet. Berdasarkan hasil analisis Rank Spearman menunjukkan bahwa keempat karakteristik kewirausahaan berkorelasi secara signifikan terhadap keberhasilan usaha. Hal ini memiliki arti bahwa ketika karakteristik kewirausahaan pelaku usaha minuman kekinian meningkat maka kebrhasilan usaha akan meningkat.id
dc.description.abstractThe development of the Indonesian business world has led to the emergence of the micro, small and medium enterprise (MSMEs) model. The development of the number of MSMEs business units in Indonesia continues to increase every year. The business that is currently developing is a contemporary beverage business that has emerged in the community over the last few years. The purpose of this study is to describe the characteristics of business actors, characteristics of the business, and the entrepreneurial characteristics of business actors, as well as to analyze the relationship between entrepreneurial characteristics and the success of the contemporary beverage business. The research was conducted in Medan Johor District, Medan City by using descriptive analysis and correlation analysis methods. Determination of the sample in this study using purposive sampling amounted to 35 respondents. The analytical tool used in this research is Rank Spearman. The entrepreneurial characteristics studied in this study are innovative, confident, risk-taking, and future-oriented. The measurement of business success in this study uses indicators of business growth and turnover. Based on the results of Spearman's Rank analysis shows that the four characteristics of entrepreneurship are significantly correlated with business success. This means that when the entrepreneurial characteristics of the contemporary beverage business actors increase, business success will increase.id
