Analisa Produktivitas bagian Pengolahan Teh Hitam di PT. Perkebunan Nusantara VII Unit Pagaralam dengan Metode Objective Matrix

Abstract

Teh merupakan salah satu sub sektor perkebunan yang memiliki peran cukup penting dalam pembangunan pertanian Indonesia. Rendahnya produktivitas teh di Indonesia dapat disebabkan beberapa hal diantaranya tidak optimal dalam proses pengolahan dan kurangnya kualitas teh yang dihasilkan. Dalam menganalisis produktivitas dilakukan perhitungan nilai indeks perfromansi dan indeks produktivitas. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode Objective Matrix (OMAX) serta dalam pembobotan kriteria pada metode OMAX menggunakan Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). Data yang digunakan yaitu pencapaian yield, pencapaian aktual produksi, konsumsi bahan bakar cangkang, konsumsi energi listrik dan absensi karyawan. Metode OMAX memasukkan pertimbangan pihak manajemen dalam penentuan bobot tersebut sehingga hasilnya lebih objektive dan fleksibel. Pembobotan pada AHP diantaranya menetapkan prioritas elemen-elemen dalam suatu persoalan keputusan dengan membuat perbandingan berpasangan. Hasil perhitungan dapat disimpulkan bahwa produktivitas bagian pengolahan teh hitam orthodoks berdasarkan indeks performansi sebelumnya tertinggi pada bulan Juni sebesar 54,588% dan penurunan produktivitas pada bulan April yaitu -39,360%. Peningkatan produktivitas berdasarkan indeks produktivitas terhadap performansi standar pada bulan Januari sebesar 130,390% serta mengalami penurunan produktivitas pada bulan Desember yaitu -53%. Energi listrik menjadi faktor dominan terhadap produktivitas karena kurang optimalnya dalam penggunaan energi listrik.

Tea is one of the plantation sub-sectors that has an important role in Indonesia's agricultural development. The low productivity of tea in Indonesia can be caused by several things including not optimal in the processing process and the lack of quality of the tea produced. Therefore, the quality of Indonesian tea is still unable to compete with competing countries' tea products. In analyzing productivity, the Objective Matrix (OMAX) method is used. The OMAX method is a partial productivity measurement method developed to monitor productivity in each part of the company with productivity criteria that are in accordance with the existence of that part (Objective). This method combines the performance of each part in a matrix, the data used includes input and output data, namely yield achievement, actual production achievement, shell fuel consumption, electrical energy consumption and employee absenteeism. The OMAX method includes management's considerations in determining the weights according to the degree of importance of each criterion in the company so that the results are more objective and flexible. AHP determines the priority of elements in a decision problem by making pairwise comparisons. The calculation results can be concluded that the productivity of orthodox black tea processing based on the previous performance index was highest in June at 44,444% and the decline in productivity in April was -36,250%. The increase in productivity based on the productivity index against standard performance in January was 136,667% and experienced a decrease in productivity in December of -50%. Optimization of electrical energy in the use of tools, The use of shell fuel in accordance with a lot of tea production with employee performance, especially during working hours is optimized to increase black tea productivity. The policy that can be taken by the company is to make a list of working hours using tools and data on shell fuel consumption per day based on the amount of tea produced, as well as the schedule of incoming employees based on work shifts and employees who are absent based on work shifts.
