      Akurasi Berbagai Metode In Vitro dalam Menduga Fermentabilitas dan Kecernaan In Vivo

      Abstract
      Pendugaan fermentabilitas dan kecernaan in vivo dapat dilakukan dengan percobaan secara in vitro berbagai metode seperti Tilley dan Terry, Theodorou dan Sutardi. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui tingkat akurasi berbagai metode in vitro dalam menduga kecernaan in vivo. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan acak kelompok dengan 4 perlakuan dan 4 kelompok sebagai ulangan. Perlakuan yang digunakan yaitu 3 metode in vitro (Tilley dan Terry, Theodorou dan Sutardi) dan satu metode in vivo. Pengelompokan berdasarkan cairan rumen yang dilakukan secara duplo. Parameter yang diukur (pH, Konsentrasi NH3 dan VFA total, KcBK, KcBO) dianalisis dengan analisis sidik ragam kemudian dilanjutkan dengan uji Tukey. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tidak ada perbedaan nyata (P>0,05) pada nilai derajat keasaman (pH) antara ketiga metode in vitro namun masih dalam rentang normal. Metode Tilley dan Terry merupakan metode yang paling akurat untuk mengestimasi KcBK, KcBO, VFA total dan NH3
       
      In vivo fermentability an digestibility can be estimated using in vitro methods such as Tilley and Terry, Theodorou, and Sutardi. The study was conducted to determine the accuracy of various in vitro methods estimating in vivo digestibility. This study used randomized block design with 4 treatments and 4 groups as replications. The treatments used were three in vitro methods (Tilley and Terry, Theodorou and Sutardi) and one in vivo method. Grouping based on rumen fluid, and the experiment was done in duplicate. The variables measured (pH, NH3 concentration, total VFA, DMD, and OMD) were analyzed using ANOVA continued with Tukey's test. The results showed that there was no difference (P> 0.05) in pH among the methods but it is still within the normal range.The Tilley and Terry in vitro method is the most accurate to estimate in vivo’s DMD, OMD, total VFA and NH3 values
