Hubungan Produktivitas Kelapa Sawit dengan Indeks Vegetasi Citra Landsat 8 dan Curah Hujan pada Tanaman Sawit Dewasa di Kebun Cikasungka PTPN VIII
Abstract
Taxation of oil palm productivity, an important part of oil palm plantation
management, is still performed manually. Oil palm production can be estimated
using remote sensing technology as an alternative. Landsat 8 Surface Reflectance
satellite imagery can be used to estimate oil palm production using vegetation index
algorithm EVI (Enhanced Vegetation Index), NDVI (Normalized Difference
Vegetation Index), and VARI (Visible Atmospherically Resistant Index). Oil palm
productivity then analyzed using the linear regression and multiple linear regression
with the EVI/NDVI/VARI, rainfall, and rainy month. The analysis was performed
with 3 treatments, namely normal treatment, 1-year data shift, and 2-year data shift.
The results of multiple linear regression analysis show the value of the correlation
coefficient of EVI, NDVI, and VARI. All indices had the same highest correlation
value of 0.999, while the lowest were 0.028; 0.087; 0.134. The value of the linear
regression correlation is lower than the value of the multiple linear regression
correlation. The F test reveals that all independent variables are important
explanations for the dependent variable. Accuracy test shows that normal
treatmaent is the most accurate. The vegetation index is the independent variable
that has the most influence on productivity, this is indicated by the R
2
value and the
coefficient value of these variables, the greater the coefficient value the greater the
effect.
