      Abstract

The objective of the experiment was to treat the organic waste produced by X dairy farm based on the potential waste produced by utilizing larvae and the projected scale-up costs in waste treatment using BSF. This study uses a two-step approach in treating X livestock waste, the first is preliminary research to see the performance of Black Soldier Fly (BSF) larvae with P0 ( Chicken feed (1000 g) + water mixer (1000 g water)), P1 (SFPM). (600 g) + water mixer (water 300 g), P2 (SFPM (550 g) + Refusal (150 g) + water mixer (200 g water and 100 g reject milk)) P3 (SFPM (390 g) + Refusal (210 g) + water mixer (150 g of water and 150 g of reject milk). The lowest performance was treated with SFPM feed composition of 600 g and water 300 g, with an initial weight of 100 g to 107.67 for 39 days and larval survival percentage of 20.53%, the larval cycle became pre-pupae 39 days. The best performance with the composition of SFPM feed as much as 390 g, refusal 210 g, water 150 g and reject milk 150 g, with an initial weight of 100 g to 346,60 g for 39 days with a larval survival percentage of 66,13%.
