Analisis Kelayakan Usaha Palet Kayu di PT. Damai Restu Abadi, Kecamatan Limo, Kota Depok, Jawa Barat

Abstract

Kebutuhan kemasan sebagai pelindung produk dalam kegiatan industri sangat tinggi. Salah satu kemasan yang umum dan banyak digunakan dalam kegiatan industri adalah palet berbahan dasar kayu. Melihat potensi tersebut PT. Damai Restu Abadi melakukan usaha palet kayu untuk kebutuhan ekspor dan lokal. Perusahaan memiliki permintaan yang tinggi namun belum dapat memenuhi semua permintaan yang datang. Hal ini dikarenakan kapasitas produksi perusahaan yang belum mampu mencukupi permintaan. Kemudian perusahaan melakukan penambahan modal untuk memperbesar skala usaha sehingga perusahaan perlu melakukan analisis kelayakan usaha. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis kelayakan usaha berdasarkan aspek nonfinansial dan finansial, serta analisis sensitivitas. Berdasarkan hasil analisis aspek nonfinansial dan finansial usaha layak dijalankan. Analisis sensitivitas dilakukan dengan dua perubahan komponen, yaitu penurunan penjualan palet kayu dan kenaikan harga bahan baku kayu. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa usaha lebih sensitif terhadap penurunan penjualan palet kayu dibandingkan kenaikan harga bahan baku kayu.

The need of the packages as a product’s protector in industrial activities is very high. One of the packages that are commonly and widely used in industrial activities is the wood-based pallet. See the potential that exists, PT. Damai Restu Abadi conducts the business of wooden pallet for export and local needs. The company has high demand but has not been able to meet all the requests. This is due to the company’s production capacity that has not been able to meet the demand. Then the company makes additional capital to increase the scale of the business so that the company needs to conduct a business feasibility study. The purpose of this study is to analyze business feasibility based on non-financial and financial aspects, and sensitivity analysis. Based on the results of analysis of non financial and financial aspects, the business is feasible to run. Sensitivity analysis are carried out with two component changes: the decrease in the sales of wooden pallets and the increase in the price of wood raw materials. The results shows that the business is more sensitive toward the decrease in the sales of wooden pallets than the increase in the price of wood raw materials.
