      Pengaruh Kombinasi Zat Pengatur Tumbuh Atonik dengan Media PES (Provasoli Enrich Seawater) terhadap Pertumbuhan Eksplan Rumput Laut Eucheuma cottoni

      Abstract
      Eucheuma cottonii is a type of seaweed that has been widely cultivated in Indonesia. The purpose of this study was to measure the effect of the combination of Atonic ZPT (Growth Regulator) and PES (Provasoli Enrich Seawater) media on the growth of Eucheuma cottonii explants. The research was carried out in April—May 2020, at the Seaweed Tissue Culture Laboratory at the Brackish Water Cultivation Fishery Center (BPBAP) Takalar, South Sulawesi. The study was designed using a completely randomized design (CRD) method with four treatments consisting of K (ZPT 0 ppm and PES 0%), A (ZPT 15 ppm and PES 1%), B (ZPT 15 ppm and PES 2%) and C (ZPT 15 ppm and PES 3%). The seaweed were Eucheuma cottonii from Laikang Village, Manggara Bombang District, Takalar Regency, South Sulawesi with an initial weight of 0.093 ± 0.008 grams and an initial length of 2.08 ± 0.01 cm. Study was carried out for 35 days and sampling was done once every 7 days. The results showed that the addition of a combination of 15 ppm atonic growth stimulant with 3% provasoli enriched seawater media on the culture medium could produce the highest survival rate and growth of Eucheuma cottonii seaweed explants that were better than the control or with the addition of 15 ppm Atonic ZPT and PES 1 %.
