Fraksinasi Komponen Nonpolimer Damar Mata Kucing (Sllorea Javanica) Untuk Memperoleh Agens Pengeruh

Abstract

Dammar is Indonesian nonlimber agro forest products, one oj them is cat eye dam mar. This dammar has been recognized as the bes! dammar in the world and can be used as food additive. This research was conducted to develop cloudifierfrom cal eye dammar in Lampung. Cloudifier developed should meet the required specifications: (a) turbidity of 1% lV/V concentration in water 200±20 FTU, and (b) stable at least within 12 weeks. The method includes extraction of nonpolymer components in ethanol at cancen/ra/ion of 6.0-25.5 gil and [tl/ra/ion. Thejil/ra/e obtained is a clear liquid with /lirbidity of 211 FTU if diluted 100 limes with water. Applying cloudifier in cloudy drink with or wi/hall/the addition of 12% sucrose produces a good cloudy drink which is stable for more than J 2 weeks at room lemperature, based on its appearance and turbidity changes. Acute toxicity test indicated that obtained cloudifler is practically 110n tOxic.
