Estimation of lemuru fishing ground in Muncar waters is a success factor in lemuru fishing operation. Fishing activities are influenced by lemuru fishing ground condition. This study is conducted to assess catch composition, to measure dominant size length, to analysis relationship between chlorophyll-a concentration and catch, and to estimate potential lemuru fishing ground. The fishing ground is expected by using three indicators, which were catch per unit effort (CPUE), dominant size length, and chlorophyll-a concentration. The result showed that CPUE average was 3989.5 kg, then dominant size length was from 11cm to 15cm namely protolan. In addition, chlorophyll-a concentration and catch had strong correlation. Moreover, potential lemuru fishing ground found in Sembulungan waters, Pengambengan, and around the Bali Strait.id
