| dc.description.abstract | Lampung Province is one of the largest producers of fruits.That big production level is a matter of support in terms availability of fruits. If associated with consumption levels, can be known that these available fruits are not utilized optimally by consumers. It can be seen from the level consumption of fruits that still low. This study aim to: (1) analyze factors that affect the demand of fruits household at Lampung Province, (2) analyze the change response in quantity and quality demand of fruits due to changes in price and income at Lampung Province. Type of data used in this research is secondary data obtained from BPS (Central Bureau of Statistic), that is data from module consumption expenditure and kor household from SUSENAS result (Survei Sosial Ekonomi Nasional) for Lampung Province in 2013. This data was cross section with sampling household unit. The output data then analyze used AIDS (Almost Ideal Demand System) model, and single equation models with semilog form. The result shows that the variable price of fruits (either own price nor cross price), expenditure, and family size shown affect the demands of fruits. Based on value of the cross price elasticity, known that generally all fruits have a variation of demand elasticity, there are positive or negative in terms of both quality and quantity. Generally the value of income elasticity is positive on all types of fruits that analyzed. This means the increase in income will affected an increase in the demand for fruits both in terms of quantity and quality. | id |
