Program Pembiayaan Lembaga Keuangan Mikro Syariah (LKMS) dalam Peningkatan Kesejahteraan Pelaku Usaha Mikro (Studi Kasus BMT Syariah Baitul Karim, Bekasi)

Abstract

The role of micro-enterprises in employment are very large, namely 99.9% of the total labour in Indonesia. It shows that micro businesses have a great opportunity in economic development and improving the welfare. This is not in accordance with the improvement of social welfare because of huge of the poor is 10.96% of the total population. Limited capital on micro businesses become obstacle that is difficult to avoid. In this case, the financing provided by the BMT become important for micro enterprises in accessing capital. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of the financing program in improving income and welfare micro businesses. The method which used in this research is Ordinary Least Square (OLS) method and logistic method. Significant variables that positively affect the revenue are financing taken of respondents, income generating family members, education, ethics and morals variable. The variables are positively and significantly affect the welfare are duration of membership, share of food expenditure to the total expenditure, average income, and financing are taken respondents
