dc.description.abstract | Gunung Pancar Nature Park is located in Bogor Regency, West Java Province. Natural Park is a conservation area which is supervised directly by the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Indonesia. This region has a natural potential such as tourism, hydrology, forest conservation, education, and economic potential. The aim of the present study was to describe policy management strategy descriptively, estimating the total economic value of Gunung Pancar Natue Park by using travel cost method (TCM), and identifying the factors that affect the frequency of tourists visit Gunung Pancar Nature Park. This research also examined the visitor's perception of the aspects in the tourist area, so that the new policy can be obtained from the perception value. The economic value of this tourist area can be estimated by usingTravel Cost Method. This method is calculated based on total consumer surplus, the coefficient of travel expenses, and total visits respondents obtained from the primary data and secondary data. The average of expenses from 40 respondents during the tour is Rp 257 575. The consumer surplus of individuals per visit is Rp 183 150 and the total economic value obtained from this region with annual travel cost method is Rp 10 145 604 395. The factors that influence the frequency of visits in this region is domicile and infrastructure in tourist areas. | id |
