Interaksi perikanan tangkap dengan beberapa kegiatan industri di pesisir Kabupaten Lamongan

Abstract

Fisheries has been established as economic activity of coastal communities in Lamongan District. Recent development shows industrial development in the coastal area, such as tourism business in Paciran, an integrated industrial estate, and a passenger port. The development of three types of coastal activities are expected to affect local fisheries due to multi-use of coastal zones. This study aims to describe the interaction between the fisheries and the other coastal industries. Reduction in fishing areas and landing sites is experienced by some fishing fleet.This study concluded that the impact experienced by fishermen due to the construction of the maritime business is not always the same, depending on the size of the vessel, type of fishing gear and fishing operations area.
