| dc.description.abstract | This internship was aimed to acquire the knowledge, technical skills and management of trainer students to work professionally, increase the soft skill of students to prepare themselves to be professional worker, especially in management aspects of oil palm nursery. This internship has been done in Teluk Bakau Estate, PT Bhumireksa Nusa Sejati, since February to June 2014. The technical aspects that were carried out during the internship consist of following the existing activities in the oil palm nursery in Teluk Bakau Estate, fertilizing the immature plants, weed control on immature plants, and harvesting. Mananejerial aspects were performed as a companion foreman and division assistant. Observation were carried out on germination growing percentage, seedling plant height, and of abnormal seedlings percentage in the pre-nursery. From observation, we found that seedling plan height increase about 2 cm/week, germination growing was 95.9 percent, and abnormal seedlings was 5.9 percents. | en |
