Poverty is an indicator of the rate of social welfare. In all countries, poverty becomes economic problems to be solved. This research analyzed the effect of Local Economic Governance on poverty rates in the region of Nusa Tenggara with Multiple Regression Analysis method and analyze the development of local economic governance with t-test. Resuts shows that 4 the sub-indexs variables TKED are significant negative impact on poverty rates. However, three variables are positive and significant impact on poverty rates. While 2 other variables had no significant effect. Based on the t-test, the sub-index of the region's infrastructure, business licensing, transaction costs as well as security and conflict settlement are improved in 2011 because of an increase in the average significantly. However, the sub-index of the capacity and integrity of regents / mayors decrease significatly in 2011. While the rest of the sub-indexs of land access, local regulations, local government interaction with entrepreneurs and private businesses development program did not change significantly.
