dc.description.abstract | United Nations Development Programme(UNDP) makea reportthat containthe Human DevelopmentIndex (HDI) andrank every year. HDI calculated from four variables, life expectancy (AHH), literacy rate (AMH), mean years school (MYS), and purchasing power parity (PPP). Multiple criteria decision making (MCDM) can be used in determining the ranking of human development. MCDM is the process of determining the best choice of many alternatives. Several methods can be used to solve MCDM problem are technique for order preference by similarity to ideal solution (TOPSIS) and visekriterijumska optimizacija i kompromisno resenje (VIKOR). The results showed that TOPSIS better than the classical UNDP method in producing consistent correlations between HDI with indicator. While UNDP methodis better than VIKOR. TOPSIS method is much better than VIKOR in a ranking of the Human Development Index which is similar to the results of UNDP method. Human DevelopmentinIndonesiahas ahighgapbutthis gapdecreases. | en |
